Shared family values

Regardless of our current or future size, AIB KUNSTMANN is a family business. This is the foundation of our approach to our employees and colleagues. We think and act like a family. This means we support each other and help each other grow, with openness, fairness, and a healthy feedback culture.

The foundation of our shared success is our excellent and highly dedicated employees. However, this dedication only arises when employees can identify with the company. And for that to happen, it's essential to create a work environment that allows them to contribute to the best of their ability.

Through diverse measures, the necessary flexibility, familial support, and a healthy culture of learning from mistakes and disagreements, we work together daily to create a work environment where we all feel comfortable and look forward to going to work.

A part of us – our partners

A company's true value isn't measured by its stock market performance or revenue. It's measured by the trust of the people who work with it. Besides employees, this includes, and especially, the many partners and suppliers. More than anything else, trust must be earned – through long-term reliability at all levels.
On this point, we are completely traditional: a handshake is a handshake. A word is a word. For us, such things are binding. We gladly leave the "Tinder mentality" to others in this area. We strive for long-term partnerships and attach far greater and more lasting importance to them than to any potential short-term economic success or monetary savings.

In good company

The movie "The Amazing Spider-Man" says, "With great strength comes great responsibility." Now, AIB KUNSTMANN isn't a superhero, but just as every individual can do something for their community, so too can a company. And that's what we do. Because we are grateful for the opportunities we have had and continue to have, and we firmly believe it is our responsibility to create opportunities for others as well – both big and small.

In consultation with our employees, we do not distribute Christmas gifts, but instead prefer to support Doctors Without Borders and donate every year to a children's hospice in the Allgäu region, right on our doorstep.

Furthermore, we support our employees' voluntary work, for example in sports clubs or regional projects, through various initiatives. And of course, we also directly create opportunities through internships, consistent training, and targeted professional development for our employees.

Creating an "environmentally friendly" environment

We come from the Allgäu region. Here, a healthy understanding of the value and importance of the environment is practically instilled in you from birth. As a company, our activities naturally leave an ecological footprint. However, our clear goal is to minimize it to the smallest possible size.

Through information and training, we promote environmental awareness and a sense of responsibility among our employees, and we place the utmost importance on ensuring that all operational processes and product quality are environmentally friendly. Environmental impacts are to be continuously reduced, or ideally avoided altogether, wherever economically feasible.

With our recyclable EcoTray tray, we have developed a globally unique solution with a focus on the environment, which will hopefully encourage a change in thinking about the use of battery trays in the future.
